Overdraft Protection Options
For ATM and Debit Card Customers
Federal Reserve rules took effect on July 1, 2010 providing Debit and ATM card users more options for selecting the right overdraft coverage (also known as Bounce Protection) for their account. Overdraft protection is applied to a checking account 30 days after opening and covers your transactions, for a fee, in the event that funds are not available at that time. The legislation requires checking account holders to choose or "opt in" to continue to have this protection for all ATM and everyday Debit Card transactions.
As always, we invite you to call or visit your nearest branch or call us at 888-744-4272 during normal business hours and we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
If you would like more information regarding overdraft protection and all of CSB's options, see our brochure.
